We Can Help

Counselling & Education

Our psychologists provide treatment supported by the latest research findings in the sexual health field. We provide counselling & psychotherapy for a broad range of sexual health concerns, sex behaviours, and problems related to sex drive, including:

  • Loss of sexual desire
  • Loss of sexual arousal
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Premature ejaculation
  • Pain with intercourse
  • Compulsive sexual behaviours
  • Fear and/or performance anxiety over sexual activity or contact
  • Vaginismus (inability to have penetrative intercourse due to tightening of the pelvic floor muscles)
  • Changes in sexual functioning related to aging, medical conditions, and/or mental health conditions.

Your therapist will help you develop strategies to resolve sexual issues (such as problems with sexual arousal, desire, pain, or orgasm difficulties). Therapy can help improve your sexual vocabulary and communication. As you gain knowledge about your sexual health and new ways of experiencing sex, you may notice enhanced arousal, sexual desire, and sense of eroticism. You may learn ways to have safer sex, or new sexual techniques depending on your goals for therapy.
