Counselling & Psychotherapy for Veterans and Their Families

Support & Advocacy

If you are a Canadian armed forces Veteran, Veteran Affairs Canada may cover the cost of psychology services. We offer a wide range of mental health services, support and information for Veterans and their families.

Our psychologists treat a range of issues, such as anger difficulties, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorderrelationship difficulties, substance abuse, and problems re-integrating into civilian life.

The most important thing to realize is that you are not alone – help is often just a phone call away.

Support for Spouses and Families of Veterans

Caring for yourself and your family

Our psychologists provide support to spouses and families of Veterans presenting with a range of psychological and mental health issues. For example, we can help a Veteran parent struggling with marital difficulties or supporting a child with learning disabilities. For families living in remote areas, telepsychology or video counselling is available.

Assessment & Advocacy

Removing barriers and providing support

Sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the mental health system in Ontario, especially when we need help right away.

Our administrative staff can help you navigate and find the supports you need. We work closely with Veterans Affairs Canada, providing VAC-funded assessments and psychotherapy.
