About:

Owyn is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario working with kids, teens, adults, parents, and families at Brookside Psychologists’ St. Catharines office.

Owyn practices from a trauma-informed, client-centred lens and is a strong advocate for the individuals she works with. Owyn supports clients in understanding how their past impacts their present, and the steps required to take to make lasting, positive change. Owyn enjoys tailoring treatment plans specific to the unique needs of each client and uses evidence based techniques and modalities to help clients reach their goals.

Regarding training, Owyn completed her Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counselling at Niagara University in 2020 and her B.A. in Psychology at Brock University.

In addition to her work at Brookside Psychologists, Owyn has provided psychotherapy and counselling to a range of clients at the Family Counselling Centre, the Canadian Mental Health Association, and Pathstone Mental Health.
