Psychologist (Kids, Teens, Adults, Families, Seniors) - Burlington
Dr. Rhyno is a psychologist licensed by the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She provides psychotherapy treatment with a recovery-oriented trauma-informed practice using a variety of evidence-based interventions. She works with children (age 5 and up), adolescents, adults and seniors. She provides therapy for individuals and families. She provides integrated psychotherapy that includes aspects of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), prolonged exposure therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, dialectic behaviour therapy (DBT) skills training, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy.
Dr. Rhyno earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology / Health Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Rhyno held directoral and clinical positions at a variety of institutions in Manitoba before moving to Ontario in 2018. These included the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, the Northern Regional Health Authority of Manitoba, the Winnipeg Police Service, the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Medicine, among others.
