Clinical Psychologist & Neuropsychologist (Adults & Seniors)
Dr. Elmar Gardizi is a clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist working with adults and seniors. He provides counselling and neuropsychological assessment for a wide range of conditions, most notably depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and traumatic brain injury.
Dr. Gardizi completed his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Windsor. He has held clinical positions at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (in the Clinical Neuropsychology Service, Forensic Psychology Service, Anxiety Treatment & Research Centre, and Cleghorn Early Intervention Clinic for Psychosis), the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (Schizophrenia Program), and the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, Detroit (inpatient traumatic brain injury & stroke, inpatient spinal cord injury, outpatient geriatric neuropsychology, outpatient psychotherapy, and outpatient neuropsychological assessment). He currently holds a full-time position as a staff psychologist at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton in the Cleghorn Early Intervention Clinic for Psychosis.
