Psychometrist (Children, Teens) St. Catharines
Ms. Fisher is a recent graduate of a Master of Psychology program and joins the team as a psychometrist, conducting psychoeducational testing. Ms. Fisher enjoys working with people of all ages, and has worked in education and healthcare settings. She has over ten years of experience in the education sector and currently works as a psycho-educational consultant with a local school board. She has a keen interest in psychological assessment, learning disabilities, ADHD, and assistive technology.
Ms. Fisher completed a master’s degree in Counseling at the University of British Columbia in 2014 and completed a second master’s degree in Psychology with a Certificate in Assessment at Adler Graduate Professional School in 2020. Ms. Fisher has completed additional qualifications in Special Education at Nipissing University between 2007 and 2010. Previously, Ms. Fisher completed a Psychology practicum placement at the Grand Erie District School Board, where she provided psychoeducational assessments. She worked as part of a team with parents, school and board staff, and community personnel to understand each student’s strengths, learning needs, and exceptionality. She also worked with the Grand District School Board as an elementary classroom teacher between 2007 and 2012, and later as a learning resource teacher between 2014 to 2019.
