Oana’s services are provided under the supervision of psychologists at the practice. As such, her services are covered under her supervisor’s license with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Oana Bucsea is a psychometrist at Brookside Therapy & Assessments, where she conducts psychoeducational, giftedness, and neuropsychological assessments with children, youth, and adolescents.
Oana completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Western Ontario (London, Canada), where she graduated with a B.Sc. degree (Honours Specialization in Psychology) in 2015. Oana obtained a M.A. in Clinical-Developmental Psychology at York University (Toronto, Canada), within the Clinical Neuropsychology Stream, and is now pursuing a Ph.D. in the same program.
Oana has received extensive training in cognitive testing with these populations in settings such as The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in the Haematology/Oncology and Stroke programs, as well as the York University Psychology Clinic. Oana has also worked clinically with youth and teenagers with mood and anxiety disorders at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
